IBPS 2026 photo and signature requirements

IBPS requires two uploads for every application: a photograph at 200×230 pixels (20–50 KB) and a signature at 140×60 pixels (10–20 KB). Both must be JPEG files. This tool has two tabs — one for the photo, one for the signature — so you can prepare both uploads without leaving the page. The same specs apply across IBPS PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS SO, and IBPS RRB exams. Everything is processed in your browser.

How to use this tool

  1. 1

Select the "Photo" tab. Upload your passport photo (JPG or PNG). Tap "Process Photo" to resize to 200×230px and compress to 20–50KB.

  2. 2

Download the processed photo using the green download button. Save the file as "ibps-photo.jpg" for easy identification.

  3. 3

Switch to the "Signature" tab. Upload a clear photo or scan of your signature on white paper.

  4. 4

Tap "Process Signature" to resize to 140×60px and compress to 10–20KB. Download and save as "ibps-signature.jpg".

  5. 5

Upload both files to the IBPS application portal in the designated upload fields.

Getting the IBPS signature right

The IBPS signature upload fails for one of three reasons: the file is not a JPEG, the dimensions are wrong, or the file size falls outside the 10–20 KB range. This tool handles all three. But getting a clean signature scan is something you need to do correctly before uploading here.

Sign your name in black or blue ink on a blank white A4 sheet of paper. Hold your phone camera directly above the paper (not at an angle) in good lighting. Crop the photo tightly around your signature before uploading — include only the signature and a small white border. A signature that fills most of the 140×60 frame is much easier to read at small sizes than one that is a tiny mark in the center of a large white canvas.

The 140×60 dimension is landscape-oriented: wider than tall. Your signature should flow naturally in this horizontal space. Avoid vertical or square signatures — they will be compressed horizontally to fit.
